Köcher officially broke ground for its second kitchen appliance manufacturing plant in Phu Son Industrial Park with an area of 25,000m², marking a development step in its investment strategy, aiming to meet international standards and expand into the global market.

Köcher recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the second kitchen appliance manufacturing plant at Phu Son Industrial Park. The project covers an area of 25,000m² and is aimed at becoming a manufacturing center for key kitchen appliance lines such as induction hobs, kitchen hoods, dishwashers and related products.
The investment in building the plant is seen as a strategic move in the company’s development journey, aimed at enhancing production capacity while being more proactive in the supply chain and controlling product quality in an increasingly competitive kitchen appliance market.
The project is being implemented at Phu Son Industrial Park – an industrial area of about 214ha, planned according to modern industrial development orientations, integrating environmental and sustainable development standards. With synchronous infrastructure, Phu Son Industrial Park is assessed as suitable for manufacturing projects aiming for international standards, especially in the context of businesses increasingly focusing on ESG factors and export capabilities.

In the context of increasing demand for high-quality kitchen appliance products, investing in production capacity not only helps the company enhance its supply capabilities but also plays an important role in controlling product quality and optimizing operational costs.
A notable point of this plant project lies in the orientation to integrate technology and international standards right from the construction phase. This step shows that the company is not only focused on expanding scale but also aims to enhance production quality comprehensively.
Previously, Köcher announced the elevation of cooperation with European technology partners, including EuroKera and EGO. The groundbreaking of this plant is seen as the next step to realize strategic partnerships, bringing technology and international standards into production in Vietnam.
Among them, EuroKera not only plays a role in supplying components but also directly participates in the testing and quality control process of the products. The involvement of this partner contributes to ensuring that technical standards are maintained throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished products.

Alongside this, the production system at the plant is also being synchronously invested. The production equipment system at the plant is provided by Schuler Group (Germany), contributing to ensuring technology standards and operational efficiency during the production process.
The combination of production technology and quality control systems is expected to create a solid foundation for improving product quality and optimizing operational processes in the long term.

According to the plan, in the upcoming phase, Köcher’s induction hob product lines will continue to be evaluated and monitored by the international R&D engineering team during the production process at the plant. This is one of the important factors to ensure that products meet technical and quality standards in the kitchen appliance industry.
Production process of products according to strict international technical standards
The operation of the second plant not only helps the company enhance its production capacity but also opens up new development opportunities in accessing international markets. In the context of the increasingly clear trend of globalization, having a standard production platform is seen as a prerequisite for the company to participate more deeply in the global value chain.
Statement by Mr. Phung Manh Cuong – General Director of Köcher
With a modern production foundation and an international cooperation ecosystem, Köcher’s products are fully oriented to meet international standards, ready to expand into the global market.
The groundbreaking of this plant not only signifies the expansion of production scale but also reflects the company’s long-term vision in building a sustainable production foundation, contributing to enhancing the position of the kitchen appliance manufacturing industry in Vietnam in the international market.
