Köcher’s journey is divided into 4 distinct development phases, from the first steps in 2014 to the current strategy of conquering the international market.

1. History of formation and development

1.1 Phase 1 (2014 – 2018): The beginning and the first successful steps

2014

Köcher’s journey officially began with the establishment of TEKO Vietnam Joint Stock Company, a significant milestone marking the birth of the Köcher brand in the market.

2016

Just two years into its solid formation, the brand produced its first induction cookers and excellently achieved the QUAT-EST 1 certification.

2016 – 2018

The increased prestige created a solid launchpad, and Köcher officially ventured into the larger market by collaborating with 3 leading technology groups in Germany, France, and Spain, including:

  • E.G.O
  • EuroKera
  • Copreci

1.2 Phase 2 (2019 – 2022): Expanding and enhancing international cooperation

2019

Continuing the momentum of international cooperation, marking a deeper technological advancement as Köcher partnered to research and produce the Inverter induction cookers with two major groups, E.G.O & EUROKERA.

Alongside product breakthroughs, the brand also officially expanded its business scale by opening the Köcher Ho Chi Minh branch.

2020 – 2022

The brand quickly expanded its distribution system across 64 provinces (now 34 provinces) through major distributors. Notably, Köcher has established its position by:

  • Officially collaborating with the Điện Máy Xanh supermarket system
  • Becoming a supplier for high-end urban areas Vinhomes Ocean Park & Vinhomes Smart City.

1.3. Phase 3 (2023 – 2024): Breakthrough and production autonomy

July 2023

Köcher was honored to attend the global event of EUROKERA in Thailand.

October 2023

Continuing to participate in the VIETNAM CONNECT event organized by SCHOTT CERAN.

2023

Not only stopping at international exchange activities, Köcher has realized its commitment to production autonomy by starting construction & operating the number 1 hood manufacturing plant.

2024

The solid foundation from the new factory has helped Köcher reap the rewards by researching and successfully launching the “national” hood product line TURBO X. To promote this advancement, Köcher has:

  • Organized a nationwide event series named ONE CHANCE ONE FUTURE in Hai Phong City & Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Participated in the International Exhibition VIETNAM EXPO HCMC 2024.
  • Enhanced trade promotion with strategic partners from the USA – India – Sri Lanka.

1.4. Phase 4 (2025 – present): Leading and conquering the market

The relentless efforts have been rewarded when Köcher officially achieved the “Market-leading product in Vietnam” certification exclusively for the TURBO X hood product line.

Following this resounding success, Köcher continues to invest in research & product development, launching upgraded versions of the new generation including:

In July 2025, at the manufacturing plant of EuroKera Group (France) located in Thailand, the high-end kitchen equipment brand Köcher officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with EuroKera – the world’s leading group in the field of producing kitchen glass. According to the signed content, Köcher will exclusively apply the X-Nano scratch-resistant glass technology from France for induction cooker product lines in the Vietnamese market.

2026

Köcher officially broke ground for its second kitchen equipment manufacturing plant in Phu Son Industrial Park with an area of 25,000 m², marking a development step in the investment strategy, aiming to meet international standards and expand into the global market.
