Last July, at the manufacturing plant of EuroKera Group (France) located in Thailand, the premium kitchen appliance brand Köcher officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with EuroKera – the world’s leading group in the field of kitchen glass production. According to the signed agreement, Köcher will exclusively apply the X-Nano scratch-resistant glass technology from France for its induction cookers in the Vietnamese market. This is considered a breakthrough step for Köcher in its journey to elevate product quality, affirming its pioneering role in bringing high-end material technology into kitchen appliances in Vietnam.
X-NANO GLASS TECHNOLOGY: A BREAKTHROUGH FROM FRANCE
X-Nano is a new generation of scratch-resistant glass developed by Eurokera over more than 10 years by a team of specialized engineers in France. This glass line integrates outstanding features such as scratch resistance five times greater than that of conventional glass, proprietary nano crystal technology that enhances hardness and impact resistance. In addition, X-Nano also has the ability to resist dirt and fingerprints effectively, withstand high temperatures, and resist strong impacts. Aesthetically, X-Nano features a surface design with a matte texture pattern following European trends, creating a luxurious, modern, and minimalist effect, suitable for the tastes of high-end consumers.
EXCLUSIVE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
According to representatives from both sides, Köcher will be the first and only brand in Vietnam currently to exclusively apply Eurokera’s X-Nano technology for the premium Köcher X-Nano induction cookers. This brings a special competitive advantage to the company in the high-end kitchen appliance segment, as all X-Nano glass will only be used for Köcher-branded induction cookers in Vietnam.
LONG-TERM GOALS AND VISION
As one of the pioneering induction cooker brands in Vietnam, Köcher continuously invests in product research and development. The strategic partnership with Eurokera marks an important step in shaping a new standard for kitchen appliances in Vietnam. Mr. Phùng Mạnh Cường, a representative of Köcher, stated: “The strategic cooperation with Eurokera will help Köcher gain technological advantages to develop high-quality product lines, while also creating a foundation for expanding production and aiming for exports in the future.”
CREATING A NEW STANDARD FOR VIETNAMESE CONSUMERS
The strategic cooperation with Eurokera contributes to affirming Köcher’s increasingly solid position in the Vietnamese kitchen appliance market. Köcher is proud to be the pioneer in Vietnam bringing German technology into induction cookers. The scratch-resistant induction cooker Köcher X-Nano is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2025, and will be a new strategic flagship product of the company. Through this induction cooker line, Vietnamese consumers will be introduced to a new standard in the kitchen industry for the first time – where technology, quality, and aesthetics converge to create a modern, safe, and more upscale cooking experience.
