WARRANTY POLICY

Köcher – European technology kitchen appliances, we are committed to providing products that meet European quality standards along with the most professional after-sales service. The warranty policy below is established to ensure maximum benefits for customers throughout the lifecycle of the equipment.

1. Warranty policy

1.1. Conditions for free warranty 

Köcher products will be warranted free of charge if they meet all the following conditions:

  • The product is still under warranty and is damaged due to a manufacturer defect.
  • The warranty period is calculated from the date of purchase shown on the valid purchase receipt/invoice (intact, fully filled out, no erasures or modifications) or activated electronically within 7 days from the date of purchase.
  • Note: When customers report a warranty, a technician will come to inspect. If it is determined that the damage is not due to a product defect, the company will charge a fee of 150,000 VND per visit (travel and inspection costs) applicable to both cases of products still under warranty or expired warranty.

1.2. Cases not covered by warranty or warranty with fees 

Köcher will refuse free warranty for the following cases:

  • Products that have expired warranty, cannot prove the purchase time, or activated the electronic label after 7 days from the date of purchase.
  • Natural wear and tear during use such as: Paint layer, outer shell scratched, faded; the washing rack of the machine rusted, paint peeling due to the use of strong detergents, water stagnation for a long time or due to hard water deposits, impacted by sharp objects. Pots and pans are not covered for the non-stick coating and glass lids that are broken.
  • Improper installation: Not following technical guidelines such as installing near sinks/wet areas, not grounding, not installing circuit breakers for high-power products (induction cookers, industrial cookers), kitchen cabinets sealed without ventilation holes for cooling.
  • Incorrect use, cleaning, and maintenance: Not cleaning regularly, not removing leftover food debris causing pipe or spray arm blockage, using inappropriate detergents (such as using regular dish soap for dishwashers), leaving the device in a damp/chemical environment or allowing insects and rodents to enter.
  • Misuse: Using household induction cookers for industrial purposes, using wine cabinets to store other foods.
  • Physical impact: Cracks, deformation, scratches, dents due to impact, dropping, improper transportation, or due to natural disasters, floods, lightning, fire.
  • Power supply issues: Unstable power supply, loose plugs, continuously using incorrect allowed power supply (fluctuating over 220V ±10V for induction cookers and 220V-240V for other devices), or not directly connecting power leading to short circuits, surges.
  • Other causes: Damage due to using pots and pans not in accordance with regulations; range hoods with small exhaust pipe diameter (<150mm).
  • Customers disassemble, repair on their own, or ask unauthorized individuals/entities to intervene in the product.

1.3. Standard warranty period 

The warranty period is based on the purchase date, the date of activating the electronic warranty label, or the production month but does not exceed the maximum warranty period.

2. Instructions for registering electronic warranty

  • Method 1: Gently scratch the silver coating on the electronic label. Use a camera or QR Zalo to scan the code, then access the page qcheck.vn, fill in the information and click Update.
  • Method 2: Scratch the silver coating on the electronic label and compose an SMS message according to the syntax: CK<space> SMS CODE send to 8077.
  • Method 3: Register warranty through KOCHER hotline number 0969 622 066.
